Accounting firm Baker Tilly acquires technology consultant Vanilla

Accounting firm Baker Tilly US has acquired Vanilla, a technology consulting firm specializing in the sale, implementation and support of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software. Financial terms of the deal, which is expected to close on May 1, 2022, were not disclosed.

Based in the UK, Vanilla specializes in IFS Cloud, a unique product that provides class-based solutions for service management, enterprise resource planning and enterprise asset management.

Vanilla has offices in the UK, USA and Sri Lanka and clients in North America, Europe and the Middle East. The company was founded in 2009 and has nearly 100 employees, according to LinkedIn.

The acquisition helps anchor Baker Tilly in the UK market and adds digital consulting services to its local capabilities, according to the company.
