Aspera wins over $1 million software deal with global food brand company

BOSTON, May 14, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — Aspera, a leading provider of Software Asset Management (SAM) solutions and services and part of the USU Group, today announced that a global food brand company (the “customer”) has signed a $1.2M SaaS agreement to use Aspera SmartTrack SAM technology. Their key decision points for choosing Aspera were the successful integration of SmartTrack with the client’s complex IT environment and the value of partnering with an experienced services team.

The Customer’s senior management prioritized implementing a SAM solution to understand their software licensing and prepare ahead of vendor software audits. Their longer-term goal is to achieve an even higher return on investment by optimizing their software spend with key vendors such as Microsoft and Adobe. The Aspera platform will allow the customer to manage their data center and customer devices over a strategic three-year period.
