Carahsoft will distribute Qadium software, services to SPAWAR, DoD

Carahsoft technology received a potential global purchase contract of $ 37.6 million over five years from the Department of Defense to supply Qadiumsoftware and services of US NavySpace and Naval Warfare Systems Command Systems Center Pacific and other DoD agencies.

The BPA awarded by the Enterprise software initiative will run until May 16, 2023 and will cover the delivery of Qadium licenses and maintenance support for DoD, the US Coast Guard and intelligence agencies, Carahsoft said Friday.

Carahsoft will support the BPA through its contract management, sales, marketing and partner activation capabilities and will host training webcasts on software updates and contract terms.

Qadium software platforms facilitate perimeter management workflows, digital asset recovery, and customer signature monitoring.

Ebben Yazel, head of technology alliances at Carahsoft, said the company will work with its reseller partners to expedite delivery of Qadium’s perimeter defense platforms to the Navy and DoD via BPA.

The deal came a month after Carahsoft secured a potential five-year EPS of $ 125 million to distribute Red Hatsoftware and services to DoD and associated agencies.
