The ANU Careers team is growing to strengthen career education, employability initiatives and industry relations across the university. Aligned with the government’s work-ready graduate program, ANU Careers will help students and graduates gain the skills, adaptability and experience they will need to thrive in a challenging job market.

The ANU Careers team is integral to our students’ ability to successfully navigate the changing world of work and feel confident in building their future careers. We work closely with university colleges to support the variety of exceptional programs offering work-integrated learning and provide authentic professional education through curriculum-integrated and self-contained learning experiences. Job Overview

Supported by the ANU Careers Manager, Career Consultants work as members of the ANU Careers team to design and deliver best-practice integrated, self-directed career services for all students and new graduates, including individual career consultations. Using collaborative on-campus relationships, Career Consultants will focus on developing sustainable career development and employability initiatives spanning the entire student lifecycle to support graduate employability.

Supporting the University-wide commitment to improving student and graduate employability, Career Consultants will support a culture of innovation and evidence-based practice in career education and employability.

A collegial style, strong consultation, communication and facilitation skills, and a proven commitment to delivering an exceptional student experience will be essential for success.
