County Approves Software Contract | New

The financial services software company that served Madison County for more than 15 years is closing at the end of this year, and the county government named a replacement on Monday.

The board of commissioners on Monday approved a contract with Edmunds Gov Tech for $99,740 to install a new web-based system and train employees in its use. That fee covers the remainder of 2022 and all of 2023, with an annual fee of $44,990 from 2024 through 2026. County officials say this contract will also eliminate $20,000 spent annually on server maintenance.
