DHS renews software contract with Palantir for Investigative Case Management Services

The Department of Homeland Security renewed a contract with Palantir for investigative case management software.

Under the terms of the tender, the artificial intelligence and analytics firm will provide services to the department’s Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) division. The contract is for $95.5 million over a period of five years.

The Investigative Case Management System is the DHS system of record that is used in all HSI investigative cases and by special agents, criminal analysts, and support personnel in the United States as well as outside the country.

DHS said it selected Palantir’s software for its speed of delivery, access controls and data protection.

This is the last contract awarded to the company by the US government. In April, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention extended and expanded a contract with the company for disease surveillance, although no details on the size were made public.

In an interview with FedScoop in August, Palantir COO Shyam Sankar said partnerships between the company and major hardware manufacturers would be key as it targets growth in its government business volume. federal.
