Raytheon Wins Software Contract for CV-22 Silent Knight Radar

Defense contracts worth $7 million and more


Black Construction-Tutor Perini JV, Harmon, Guam, is awarded a $26,077,777 firm price task order (N6274223F9920) under a previously awarded multi-price construction contract (N62742-19-D- 1328) for the construction of an adequately sized building and a configured communications facility that ensures a diverse communications system is available to meet theater needs. The work order contains an option that is exercised at the time of assignment. The work will be performed in the Joint Mariana Region at Anderson Air Force Base, Guam, and is expected to be completed by February 2025. FY 2020 Military Construction Funds (Air Force) d an amount of $26,077,777 will be incurred upon grant and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Three proposals were received for this task order. The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Pacific, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, is the subcontracted activity.

Mare Island Dry Dock LLC, Vallejo, CA, is awarded a firm price contract of $11,454,396 (N3220523C4008) for 60 calendar day shipyard availability for Mid Term Availability of Military Sealift Fleet Replenishment Tanker Command USNS Henry J. Kaiser (T-AO 187). This contract includes a base period and seven unexercised options which, if exercised, would increase the cumulative value of this contract to $13,439,269. Work will be performed in Vallejo, Calif., beginning February 13, 2023, and is expected to be completed by April 13, 2023. Fiscal 2023 working capital (Navy) in the amount of $11,454,396 is incurred and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was a full and open competition with proposals solicited through the government entry point website and two proposals received. The Navy’s Military Sealift Command, Norfolk, Va., is the contracting activity.

Raytheon Co., Indianapolis, Indiana, receives an order for $8,356,194 at cost plus fixed costs (N0001923F0051) against a previously issued base order agreement (N0001920G0007). This order includes software product updates and qualification testing for the CV-22 Silent Knight Radar (SKR) Joint Services Vertical Lift Aircraft Experimental (JVX) Avionics System Software (JASS) instrumentation build, the SKR JASS Functional Requirements Document (FRD) 8 forward port, and forward port SKR JASS FRD 9 in support of the Joint Program Office V-22. Work will be performed in Indianapolis, Indiana, and is expected to be completed in May 2024. Department of Defense (DOD) funds for fiscal year 2022 are $4,492,698; research, development, test, and evaluation (DOD) funds for fiscal year 2022 in the amount of $861,485; and Fiscal Year 2021 Supply (DOD) funds in the amount of $3,002,011 will be committed at the time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the fiscal year. Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
