SAIC Wins $757 Million US Army Software Services Contract

Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) has been awarded a contract to continue to provide software development and management services for the US Army Enterprise Service Desk (AESD). The single-award contract has an estimated cap value of $757 million.

“We are excited to help the U.S. military develop an IT enterprise management platform that will replace its legacy systems and provide an improved, modernized user experience,” said Bob Genter, President, Defense and Civil at SAIC.

Under this contract, SAIC will continue the existing AESD operations, optimize the Army Enterprise Service Management Framework (AESMF) service delivery processes, and extend the functionality provided by the software environment as service (SaaS) through optional capabilities. SAIC will also migrate legacy IT service management systems to a modern IT service management platform using ServiceNow®.

In addition, SAIC will provide help desk solutions to include help desk support for voice, messaging, video conferencing, IT, network infrastructure, customer support and insurance support. information to the military.
