Senior Solution Consultant – DXP Specialist/Content Management –

MentorMate is looking for a Senior Solutions Consultant with deep expertise related to Digital Experience Platforms (DXPs) and Content Management. This role is responsible for providing subject matter expertise related to content management and digital experience platforms and influencing our strategies in this area. They will lead and support business development activities related to DXP and content management, particularly with large accounts that we believe have significant long-term prospects for MentorMate. While they will likely be involved in some billable capacity with every prospect they engage with, that is not the primary focus or measure of success in this role.

Some of these clients will be large and complex, requiring MentorMate to establish their trust quickly. This role will be critical in building trust and representing our overall capabilities to deliver content-related solutions with mixed and distributed teams. In this scenario, the consultant may need to help propose the work, determine the overall technology stacks at play and the best team structure to complement the client’s existing staff, and then ensure a start-up, ramp-up power and a smooth transition to program/project management. .

In other situations, these customers may have mature project efforts underway, but need help maintaining their product roadmap and translating it into actionable work.

Responsibilities include:

  • Prospect meetings

  • Contribute to proposal writing and estimation of relevant proposals

  • Work with Account Management/Sales to meet periodically to discuss new needs and ensure continuity of skills and staff in our DXP Center of Excellence

  • Strategic advice/domain expertise related to DXP and content, including

  • Work with Design to provide consultancy assignments, including discovery and research using human-centered design methodologies

  • Work with Enterprise Architecture to develop proposed solution architectures

  • Work with design to define content strategy for clients and recommend workflow and governance for design and content operations

  • Lead and manage strategic partnerships with DXP vendors

Minimum qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in systems integration, IT, project/program management or solution architecture

  • Proven track record in identifying business needs, driving the solution concept, and building the necessary support to fund the program

  • Experience or ability in consultation with the client

Preferred qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with one or more DXP or content management systems

  • Hands-on experience working with remote or offshore teams to deliver technology solutions

  • Experience developing or leading long-term (1+ years) transformation programs of $1M+

Location: Minneapolis, MN or remote in the US (work location is flexible if approved by company)
